Kitchen Counter
The entrance from Svartbäcksgatan opens up into Lingon's small dining area: the Kitchen Counter, directly adjacent to the restaurant kitchen.
The Kitchen Counter is unique in Uppsala and maybe in the whole country! Here you will be served directly by the chefs, get a glimpse at the work that takes place in the kitchen, hear the sizzling from the hot pans, and take in the aromas that will surely whet your appetite. If you are lucky the chefs may offer samples from the menu, and of course you can converse with the chefs about food and cooking.
Often we offer a "counter tip" in addition to the regular menu, a well-prepared dish at a better prize.
